Leadership Meeting between Yantai Nanshan University and Indonesian Universities and Signing Ceremony of MOU Held Successfully
9月19日上午，烟台南山学院国际交流合作处组织召开了“烟台南山学院与印度尼西亚高校领导见面会暨与香港海滨教育集团关于印度尼西亚高校合作备忘录签约仪式”。烟台南山学院校长杨万利、校长助理唐立波、国际交流合作处副处长姜楠出席本次会议。
On the morning of September 19th, the International Office of Yantai Nanshan University held the "Leadership Meeting between Yantai Nanshan University and Indonesian Universities and Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with Hong Kong Haibin Education Group on Cooperation with Indonesian Universities". Yang Wanli, Principal of Yantai Nanshan University, Tang Libo, Assistant to the Principal, and Jiang Nan, Deputy Director of the International Office attended the meeting.
会议伊始，双方就联合培养、师生互访等合作内容进行深入座谈。
Initially, the two sides held in-depth discussions on joint training projects, mutual visits between teachers and students.
烟台南山学院校长杨万利介绍了学校办学历程、学科专业、师生规模、国际交流合作成果等。他表示，学校与印尼高校在学科设置、教育教学理念等方面有很多共通之处，可广泛开展合作，互相学习借鉴，感谢印度尼西亚北苏门答腊大学副校长Poppy教授、国际部主任Himsar教授，雅加达国立大学校长Komarudin教授、国际部主任Susilo教授线上出席本次签署仪式，并诚挚邀请两所高校各方校领导到学校做客交流。他希望以此次签订合作备忘录为起点，开拓与印度尼西亚高校之间的交流合作。
Yang Wanli introduced the running history of the university, disciplines and specialties, the capacity of teachers and students, and the achievements of international exchanges and cooperation, etc. He said that Yantai Nanshan University and Indonesian universities share a lot of commonalities in subject construction, education and teaching concepts, etc., and can extensively learn from each other in various fronts. He acknowledged the presence of Prof. Poppy, Vice Principal and Prof. Himsar, Director of Internationalization and Global Partnership of Universitas Sumatera Utara and Prof. Komarudin, Principal and Prof. Susilo, Director of International Department of Universitas Negeri Jakarta in this online signing ceremony, and sincerely invited concerned leaders of the two Indonesian universities to pay a visit. He considered this MOU as a milestone to develop the exchange and cooperation with Indonesian universities.
雅加达国立大学校长Komarudin教授和北苏门答腊大学副校长Poppy教授分别在会上进行回应发言，并表示，中国是印尼在读留学生的主要来源国之一，目前两所高校均有中国留学生在读。本次协议签订对两国校际间合作交流非常重要。两位校长亦对香港海滨教育集团搭建的合作平台及为两国教育合作做出的努力表示肯定。他们希望通过此次签约，进一步加强联系，把握合作新机遇，打开与中国教育交流合作的新局面。
Prof. Komarudin, Rector of Universitas Negeri Jakarta and Prof. Poppy, Vice Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara added that China is one of the major countries for international students recruitment in Indonesia, and currently there are a number of Chinese students enrolled in both universities. Agreement-signing is a critical part for all parties concerning international co-operation and exchanges. They also recognized the cooperation platform and the efforts that Hong Kong Haibin Education Group Limited has contributed for education cooperation between two countries.
签署仪式上，烟台南山学院校长杨万利、香港海滨教育集团董事长胡海滨分别代表中方与印尼，在全体与会人员的见证下，签署了“关于印度尼西亚高校的谅解备忘录”，标志着烟台南山学院正式与印度尼西亚高校建立联系，达成友校合作关系，在国际交流与合作方面又迈出了坚实的一步。
At the signing ceremony, Yang Wanli, Principal of Yantai Nanshan University, and Hu Haibin, Chairman of Board of Hong Kong Haibin Education Group, on behalf of Chinese side and Indonesian institutions respectively, signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Indonesian Universities" under the witness of all the attendees, marking that Yantai Nanshan University has officially established cooperation with Indonesian universities,which is a solid step forward in international exchange and cooperation.
